Penha Longa Atlantic

The Atlantic course makes the most of the steeply sloping terrain in which it is set, providing wonderful views of the surrounding landscape. Six of the holes are situated within the valley, whilst the remaining 12 have been contoured around the hillside, offering lovely views of the nearby Sintra Hills. This fantastic course has hosted the Portuguese Open twice and is regularly ranked in the top five Portuguese courses. There are 3-loops of 9 holes available here – as this course combines with the South & North Courses – offering 27 holes in total.

Estoril

Golf Do Estoril has hosted the Portuguese Open on several occasions and is one of Portugal’s best regarded courses. With wonderful views out towards the Atlantic, this masterpiece of a golf course was designed by Mackenzie Ross, who made good use of the surrounding pine trees and eucalyptuses through which the course is set. Although a relatively short golf course, it demands great accuracy with its uneven terrain and tight fairways and is a joy to play for golfers of all standards.

Oitavos Dunes

Oitavos Dunes open in 2001 and has quickly risen to be the number one ranked course in Portugal, as well as the 3rd on mainland Europe. This stunning course lies within the beautiful Sintra-Cascais Natural Park, set amongst pine woods and reforested dunes in an area of outstanding natural beauty. It lies close to the sea so there are spectacular views of the Ocean and Cabo da Roca, the most western point in continental Europe, from a number of holes. A truly magnificent course – a must play!

A relatively flat course, Quinta da Marinha enjoys great views of the Atlantic and the surrounding countryside. The course is set within the private Quinta da Marinha estate with pine woods and the Sintra mountains in the background. There are numerous water hazards and bunkers within its layout and the course unusually features five par 5s and six par 3s. A beautifully maintained course which provides and interesting and relaxing round for all levels of golfer.

Designed by the renowned William “Rocky” Roquemore, Belas lies in the beautiful Carregueira Mountains above Lisbon and provides fantastic views of the surrounding area.
