Dom Pedro -Laguna

Laguna lies on relatively flat and open terrain, and has a more linksy feel than many of its other parkland neighbours, so provides a interesting change of scene during a golf break to the area. There aren’t many trees on the course’s wide open fairways, but water hazards, strategically placed bunkers and the prevailing wind off the sea provide the challenge. An easy walking course and a fair and testing challenge for all handicap levels.

The newest of the golf courses in the Vilamoura area, Millennium is an amalgamation of 9 refurbished holes from Laguna combined with 9 new holes; and its arrival has helped Vilamoura to become one of the main golfing destinations in Europe. The front nine feels open with generous greens protected by several water hazards, however the back 9 contrasts nicely, being set amongst stunning pine trees, where the need to keep the ball straight becomes critical. A joy to play, the Millennium Course challenges golfers of all abilities.

One of the classic courses of the Algarve, Vilamoura Old is often described as the Grande Dame of the Algarve, and is renowned throughout the golfing world.
