It has a strong cultural heritage, being the home of the Ffestiniog Railway, and with the fantasy Italienate village of Portmeirion, where The Prisoner was filmed, lying closeby. Golfwise, this area offers a fantastic variety of options, with some of Wales’ most renowned golf courses lying closeby, including Royal St. David. Porthmadog course is also well worth playing and trips out to the peninsula (to play Pwllheli, Nefyn and Abersoch ) offer the fantastic combination of great golf with stunning scenery.
